Elizabeth Gama, more commonly known as “Libby”, has been with The Law Offices of Michael Córdova since 2014. Prior to her arrival, we were thrilled and eager for her to join our firm given her impeccable resume and extensive knowledge and experience in the legal field for over 38 years. Libby has worked in many areas of the law including family practice, criminal, domestic relations, workmen’s compensation, and personal injury in the pre-litigation and litigation stages. Additionally, she served under presiding judges Myers and Gama as a Judicial Assistant for a number of years. Needless to say, we had recruited a gold mine!
Over the years, Libby continues to demonstrate an impeccable work ethic, excellent communication and writing abilities, and a profound knowledge of our practice areas. Since day one, Libby became a unique and indispensable member of our Córdova family, not only as a result of her vast knowledge and experience, but also due to her warm, passionate, and charismatic personality and team-oriented mindset. To no one’s surprise, soon after her arrival Libby was promoted to her current position as Paralegal Supervisor and let us add that she absolutely shines in this capacity! On a daily basis, Libby mentors and supervises all the pre-lit paralegals to ensure all client files are current and that we are meeting the communication goals to keep our clients informed regarding every step in their case. She also confers with all paralegals to ensure all questions and concerns are being addressed and also to provide them with support and mentorship needed to excel in their assigned responsibilities. Libby goes above and beyond to ensure all cases are handled with the utmost care and attention as we are dealing with catastrophic accidents that changes people’s lives in an instant. Without any reserve, we denote Libby as an instrumental and valuable member of our staff, we could not be happier to have her as part of our firm.
Aside of her professional responsibilities, Libby loves spending time with her family and spoil all of her grandchildren. She is very family oriented, and this is evident in her daily warm and attentive interactions with clients and staff inside and outside of the office. She portrays a genuine concern for all those around her who are fortunate to know her.
We are extremely honored and happy to have Libby as part of our Córdova family. In multiple ways, she compliments the goals and values of our firm and represents them every single day through her interactions. Congratulations on your seven (7) year anniversary, Libby. We wholeheartedly thank you for all your contributions in the development and growth of our staff, and for your continued loyalty and service to the firm and our clients.
