Happy Anniversary, Michael!

Owner and founder, Michael Fairbairn Cordova, was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In 1984, he and his family relocated to Tucson, eventually settling in the Phoenix metropolitan area. In 1988, he graduated from Arizona State University and was accepted into Harvard University Law School, where he graduated in 1991 with a Juris Doctor degree in Law. In 1994, Michael found his law firm, the Law Offices of Michael Córdova. He has limited his practice exclusively to personal injury, including catastrophic injury and wrongful death. He is a member of the State Bar of Arizona and Maricopa County Bar Association, as well as a member of the Arizona Trial Lawyers Association and the American Trial Lawyers Association. He has argued cases before the Arizona Court of Appeals, and his cases has been petitioned up to the Arizona Supreme Court and United Stated Supreme Court.

Despite Michael’s numerous accomplishments and achievements, what really defines him is his strong work ethic, empathetic character, transparency, and passion to serve others which is reflected upon the manner in which he manages the firm. Although he is a highly accomplished professional, he makes it a point to check-in with employees regularly and has an open-door policy, prioritizes recruiting staff and personally meets with every potential candidate, and promotes different initiatives for employee’s continuous development and growth. Over the years, Michael has promoted the idea that “if you seek perfection, you will achieve excellence” which was instilled in him at an early age by his grandfather who believed there was no substitute for hard work. Michael’s hard work and diligence to serve others continues, and while he has achieved much success, he remains humble which makes him even more unique and cherished amongst all those who meet him. To say we are fortunate to have an exemplary and compassionate leader is truly an understatement.

On a personal note, Michael adores spending time with his beautiful wife and 5 children, is a football and formula one race fanatic, and enjoys the outdoors and cooking with his family.
